Sookie is Mine

check out this incredible poster for True Blood's new season. It captures everything I love about this show...it's scary, sexy and nothing is what it seems. can. not. wait.

Ben Linus is...

...creepy in real life too

Look At This Hipster

Blog I wish I thought of: Lookatthisfuckinghipster

I am going to be submitting pics right and left to this shit. LA is teaming with hipsters, sometimes I swear pockets of this city are one big living Urban Outfitters / American Apparel ad and one day we'll look up and I'll be on a billboard in the background looking jealously at some hipster chick wishing I was skinny enough to dress like a little girl who played dress up in her mother's garage sale pile and still look cute. Going to a show at the Troubador tonight, I'll be able to keep this blog afloat for 6 months, easy.

Blog Explosion!

Due to the overwhelming amount of blog discovery today, I have decided to consolidate posts:

Ok Blogs (a list of fantastic blogs that this one will never make)
Highlights:

as well as...
Inspire Me Now (warning: as addictive and euphoric as heroin...or so I've heard)
100 Most Iconic Internet Videos (technically not a blog, but a equally sufficient time waster)

Thanks to EChance for keeping me hip to the blogoverse!

Smile: Update

Huffington Post Article on Flash Mob Video

Facebook: Reunited and it Feels so Good

After 40 days and 40 nights sans Facebook I have accumulated:

5 wall posts
13 friend requests
10 event invitations
35 inbox messages
15 group requests
1 friend suggestion
and a slew of 47 other requests

Of these 13 friend requests, 5 were from manboys of various localities in Turkey. Two were from elder camp counselors from my waldy days and 1 was Annette Yonemitsu of the Century City Flower Mart where I recently begged them to wrap a 24 swag basket for a charity event at the last minute one Saturday. A true 'wtf, mate?' moment.

Loser? I think...perhaps.
But among the 35 inbox messages, I received this little self esteem boost from one Kishan Parmar of Leicester:

Reflecting upon my brief hiatus and subsequent return to 'The Book' I now find it to be creepier and more invasive than ever after my rather uneventful homecoming. My time spent on facebook will surely dimmish in the coming days and weeks, as my desire to stalk and post have all but vanished this lenten season. But, it's comforting to know that when you really need it, a friend is only a poke away.
